Through the old coaching archways; The Wine Shed, with an eclectic mix of wines to discover, is tucked away in the corner of The Feathers Hotel yard in Ledbury, Herefordshire.
More than forty years ago we bought Mckechnie Wine Company, developed a retail Wine Shop in Ledbury High Street, supplying hotels throughout England .
In our “old age” retirement and on a smaller scale we are still happily discovering new and discerning wines for our customers.
The only difference is that we have found our spiritual home in a shed !
The Wine Shed is tucked away in a corner of The Feathers Yard and here you will find an eclectic mix of wines.
Our wines show excellent quality and style, offer great value and are simply delicious .
We spend our time enjoying our passion for wine, tasting (hard work !) and sourcing wines from around the world. Family run vineyards, distinctive winemakers, unusual blends and grapes share wine racks with the most popular varieties alongside premium classics.
The Wine Shed list displays wines which we enjoy, have confidence in and are happy to sell in the knowledge that you will love the wine and want to drink again.
The interior of The Wine Shed is worth a visit in itself, full racks, not much space, always a coffee on the go, Tilly – David’s golden retriever – ready to check out all customers.
